I WANT YOUR SPIRIT

“... I pray thee, let a Double portion of thy spirit be upon me...”

( 2 Kings 2.9c)

“Wales was aflame. The nation had turned away from God. As an unexpected hurricane, the Spirit of God had swept the country. The churches had been filled with large crowds. The meetings lasted up from ten in the morning until midnight. Were converted disbelievers; drunkards, thieves and inveterate gamblers have been saved; and thousands of people were recovered to a respectable life. On all sides were heard confessions of terrible sins. Mules in coal mines refused to work, because they were not used to a kind treatment! In five weeks, twenty thousand people have joined the church.

“Is it any wonder that we also wish another outpouring of the Spirit of God?”

“There is a way, a tough road. 'Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway o four God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain' ”. (Is 40.3-4)

 “For thirteen years I prayed to receive the Promise of the Spirit; and it was this way that I was led to pray: 'I want Your Spirit'. Rain or shine, despite all the difficulties, I attended the meetings. Often, seeing other guys, boating, surfing the tide, I felt tempted to go back and join them. But I used to say to myself: 'Remember of your decision', and then I moved on.”

“On one morning meeting I asked the Lord to break my heart . The Spirit seemed to say to me: 'That is what you need, to be broken, Evan Roberts.'. 'I felt a force come alive in my chest, growing and growing until I almost explode . My chest was on fire, and this verse was burning inside of me: "God demonstrates His own love to us... 'I fell to my knees with arms on the seat in front of me, letting the tears and the sweat run free.”

“I thought it was blood that had poured out”. And then I cried: 'Lord, crush me, crush me. 'Suddenly,  arose the glory. “After being broken I felt a wave of peace, and people there sang along with me: 'I hear Thy welcome voice ' ”.

“From that point on the saving of lives was what occupied my heart. From that moment, the burning desire to go through all Wales and, if it was possible, I was ready for Him to grant me the privilege of leaving”.

Since that day, this young man, twenty-six years old, was everywhere preaching the (Holy Spirit) Revival.

“There is no new method to lead men to Christ. There must be repentance of sin, and true recognition of sin, and that can only be erased by the Blood of the Lamb. The soul washed by that blood will be saved and sanctified by the Lord Jesus Christ.””

NEWS FROM INDIA

“Thank you for your prayers. I want to talk a little of what God is doing through our ministry. As we share the love of God, He is bringing more people into His Kingdom and they are being transformed. The devil always tries to put obstacles, but God gives us the victory. Recently, we performed some baptisms. A young man who attempted suicide, as well as a family, were saved and baptized. Members of the gang, who were previously saved, are now serving God.

The girls are happy and learning from the Lord. One of them, called Veni, came to the "Home of the Girls" when young and knew nothing about Jesus. She was saved and baptized. Finished high school and is now studying to be a nurse. God is using her in a special way, to evangelize, pray and preach. Recently, she has led eight of her colleagues to salvation in Christ, and water baptism.

This month, three of our Pastors will go to Orissa for two weeks. Their mission is to make a low cost building to our Church in the village of Gudari. Our ministers, along with the pastor and members of the local church, will do the hard work. But we need to provide the materials and other costs such as food, transportation, etc. We believe that God will provide for all needs. We are certain that investing our time, effort and money will produce many results to the Lord´s Kingdom.  Thank you for your cooperation.”

MONTERO – BOLIVIA

“We salute everyone with peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are well along with Rachel and Benjamin who will be 02 years old. We know that God's purposes are sovereign and will be fulfilled in our lives and in His work in Bolivia.

Peniel Mission is doing fine. We are waiting on God for a spiritual awakening. We are looking for it. We know that the time will come when the great moving of the Spirit will arrive.

The Church is quite active.  We are scheduling a big 'Holy Week Retreats' in the next hollyday, where we expect to gather 250 young people.  It is a nacional camp. Young people will come from all Peniel Bolivia: La Paz, Sucre, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. That is the third time we make this camp, now with a larger version of our Peniel Revival.

We are already working on the property that we were given and where will be the facilities of our future place for retreats and a small recovery center. As for the Temple, we are working hard to raise the necessary funds to do the slab. We ask your support in prayer.  The price is high, so we are making a great effort and especially expecting a miracle from God.
