LAST CALL!
“...Before the coming of the Great Day of the Lord”
(Joel 2:31)
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Last
Call; proceed to the boarding gate
immediately, and have a nice trip!” I get
terrified when I hear this urgent message
on my mission trips around the world...
And I cannot disguise my nervousness,
always sitting in front of my boarding
gate! I cannot miss flights, and I can never
be late!
It seems like I am hearing the voice of
the prophet Joel, repeatedly, calling out to
the whole Earth: “Blow the trumpet in Zion,
and sound an alarm in my holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
for the Day of the Lord is coming... a Day of
darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and
thick darkness...” (Joel 2:1-2ff).
Today, I seem to hear the rabbis crying
out in front of the Wailing Wall, shouting
loudly: “Yahu, Yahu, Yahu!...”, on holy days
near those prophetic walls of Israel's Hope
for the Coming of the Lord - Adonai
Elohim!
I also hear again the voice of the little
child - a lap child - raising his little finger
and pointing to the audience, in an
emotional and heartfelt pronouncement,
while the Pastor was preaching strongly
about God's Judgments for this time:
“...Yes, the Pastor is very angry, but it's not
with the ‘little ones’, it's with the grown up
ones...”, he said (Peniel Headquarters -
Belo Horizonte, MG).
These cries happen all over the world.
Nations groan under the weight of the
time. Churches are melting down, lost in
human theories and abominable pagan
practices inside and outside the temples...
Leaders shamelessly defile themselves
face to face with the people, with God, and
the media... The altars polluted, the
vessels and sacred utensils of the House
of the Lord contaminated by the iniquity of
its priests, ministers, and executors of the
celebration... “There is death in the pot!” (2
Kings 4:40-41); Israel was losing the battle
because ”There was a Babylonian cloak
hidden in Achan's tent...” (Joshua 7:20-21).
As yesterday in Sodom and Gomorrah
(Gen. 18:18-21); as in the days of Noah,
the Voices of some Prophets echo -
ridiculed in the media - while others weep
between the porch and the Altar! (Joel
2:17).
“And it shall come to pass that
AFTERWARD, I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT
ON ALL FLESH.”
THE TIME HAS COME. THE HEAVENS
ANNOUNCE IT. Great signs are spreading
throughout the world. The Day of the Lord
has come. There will be a great
awakening... The Holy Spirit will be, and is
already being, poured out on Earth. See
the signs, listen to the sounds in the skies
and in the mouths of the children. Stop, it
is a time of brokenness and surrender as
Rachel weeps for her children because
she lacks the strength to bear them...
“I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL
FLESH...” The End is coming!
