New Time!

« «Because the earth shall be full of knowledge

            Now we live in the breath of the wind ... It carries us on its wings above all the inclement weather. We hover confidently and rapturously inside, above, and beyond the dilemmas and overwhelming and unimaginable questions that the new times offer us.

            The Holy Spirit is at the foundation of all things from "the beginning" (Genesis 1.2, Psalm 33: 6, 104:30); He is the "other I" of the one who came to take up the Cross, and "abide with us forever" (John 14:16), to reveal the Son to us in his fullness and to bring us to the glory of the Father (Colossians 1:19).

            The Comforter is with us. Your Power challenges us and invigorates us with its unusual strength. The Holy Spirit enlightens us, gives us wisdom, discernment, joy and grace to live.

            God has prepared us for this new time. The most strange, wonderful and challenging period of the epic of that tiny group of hippies - and a handful of select Christians - sought by God to form a Church, and by Him transformed into a Work of Faith and testimony to the Power of God.

            The history of the Peniel Church, born out of the radical transformation of those aimless young people, the "lost generation" of the Sixties and Seventy Years, extrapolated its fourth decade, "striving with God and with men and prevailing" (Genesis 32:33). And she stands firmly clinging to that "Angel" of the Jabbok Valley!

            Well, it seems that we live being born and reborn, from the darkness of the night to the light of the sun of each new day, face to face with God ...

           We immerse ourselves in the Global Age of the Holy Spirit.

            And He's moving...

            We have the immense joy of welcoming our dear brothers from Brazil and from different countries. All gather as Peniel People for another face-to-face meeting. We are proud to welcome you, embrace you and bless you, sharing the divine grace! The Spirit of the Lord has spoken to us in these days of awakening and power of God!

OUR CULT THIS SUNDAY

            In addition to the Report of Pr. Reuel we will intercede for Congress. We will devote special time to the search for the blessing in favor of meetings, preachers, presentations, special actions of the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Caravans that will come in large numbers from Campo Grande, Três Lagoas (MS); Of Salvador and Dias D'Ávila (BA) and of Santa Cruz, Montero, La Paz, Cochabamba, Sucre (Bolivia); Mozambique and Malawi (Africa), as well as the brothers from other places. The surprises will be enormous, believe me.

NEXT SUNDAY, 23 JULY 17

            All the activities of the Church will take place in Labareda. Start at 10am. Go prepared to spend the day. Enjoy the time in communion with the brothers. Night worship begins at 6:30 p.m. Invest your time in Congress. Make new friends, intercede for brothers. The blessing is a must. Be ready. Come early for prayer.

WONDERS IN MONTERO!

            Striking the revival of the Work in Montero, Bolivia. Times of great blessings. I worked hard these three days! Conference with Leaders, Pastors and Workers; Cults of great power in the New Temple, warm welcome in the brothers' residence; And visit to the Recovery Center in Palomollita, Montero. Still in the implantation phase, but the recoveries are already being attended! Pedro and Mariella, workers breaking the earth and working miracles! In his humility and dependence, God is operating. The Church maintains the Semear Project, serving 327 children and young people, ages 3 to 18. Secular school service, teaching of the Word, familiar Christian orientation and integration to the Church! Orchestra and arts. A show of God's love. The Church prays without ceasing. Missionary vision and involvement of young people, children and adults. The blessing is too great! Glories to the Lord by the Pr. Elimar and his wife, Rachel, and all the brethren!

            He is the Lord of the Work and sees everything. And act. The greatest of all obstacles in the continuity of Peniel PIRACAIA's work, São Paulo, has been removed. God acted, as always, at the right time and time. We just have to believe in Him. Everything is easier now. Our team has worked hard, and seeing the miracles of God. The breakthrough has been huge, and nothing has been missing. The search for Recovery has long begun! Thank the Lord. Keep praying. The Group will return this week to Congress. God and Sovereign!

Guinea-Bissau - West Africa

            Our missionary Johannes Mooij, in Guinea Bissau since 2000, has spent his life in Africa. He is the Director of the important Specialized Division of Hospital Simão Mendes. Respected, loved and admired by all, he conquered the heart of the Africans. Age is coming and weakness too. Pray for your prompt recovery. It is under special treatment in Dakar, Senegal. We will pray for him even more today.

«A PRESENT FOR WORK PENIEL»

            "I cannot be present, but I know that this Congress will be one of the best, because The Holy Spirit has something very special to show His Church ...

            The commemoration of 50 years of consecration of Pr. Reuel is something special. It only happens with someone separated for an unforgettable work. The Lord, Rev. Reuel, was chosen and prepared to witness the true and mighty ministry by the action of the Holy Spirit. I am sure that you will receive many hugs and compliments. What is fair, by the honorable man that you are, to the human eyes and the eyes of God.

            To commemorate this date of singular importance, we decided to give the President of the Peniel Ministry a gift, as a fruit of these 50 years of fidelity, courage, open heart and clean ears for the voice of the Holy Spirit. This is another congregation on the African continent, in the DOA DISTRICT, Tete Province, Mozambique.

            The work began with a leader prepared by us. A little more than a year ago we began this command in a heap of clay, wood and grass; almost impossible to believe that within her were people being transformed by the Word of God.

            In February we started the construction of the temple. The power of God was manifested, and everything happened very quickly. The work is very challenging, as the District of Doa is 220 km from Tete, 155 km of dirt road of poor quality. But the difficulties only contributed to give us more courage to take the Word of salvation to the region so needy. In this place hidden behind a wall of misery, today there are 80 souls who rejoice the heart of God.
