LET THERE BE PEACE!

"He stood up and went to Zarephath;

coming to the gate of the city,

there was a widow woman gathered firewood."

(1 Kings 17:10)

When the brook dried in Cherith, border to Jordan,

the Lord said to Elijah:

- "Go to Zarephath."

The order was obeyed promptly,

because the prophet knew his God.

We live daily with the challenge of Zarephath.

This place of provision exists, real and close to us.

Elijah went ahead. It took in Zarephath.

God does not make haste.

Has established purpose, proper time for all things.

And the prophet waited with patience.

Finally, the blessing came. Strangely,

mysterious and firm, came the word of the Lord.

Blessed drought and rain, blessed need and abundance,

blessed pain and joy.

Through them is that the Lord leads us forward,

makes us go a step further, reaching to Zarephath,

where the blessing multiplies in a little bit of oil,

a portion of flour, in the hands of a poor widow!

Rise up, and listen to the voice of the Spirit.

"Arise, and get thee to Zarephath...

and takes you there, which commanded

a widow woman to sustain thee.

" (1 Kings17.9)

OFFERS AND MISSIONARY CONTRIBUTIONS

"Rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation and persevere in prayer." (Romans 12.12). Brazil is experiencing dramatic moments. The financial situation affects strongly the nation, the Brazilian people and our beloved brothers in Christ. And, consequently, the Lord's Church. The difficulties in the implementation of missionary work are mounting up. And they tend to worsen in the coming months.

Since the General Meeting of the Ministry, we recommend parsimony in the use of the financial resources of the Churches. The implementation of a budget, the balance between revenue and expenditure. Cutting of costs, buildings, projects and other enterprises. Spend only what you have. And finally, faithfulness in tithes and offerings of love to the Plan Missionary Action (PAM).Parte inferior do formulário

The political changes and global economic affect us. And the outlooks for the coming days are not the best. Therefore, the Ministry Peniel recommends:

1. To Churches normalize their contribution to the Plan Missionary Action, immediately;

2. The contributions for Missions Peniel should only be made directly to the Plan of Missionary Action (PAM). No other form of personal contribution, groups, organizations, regional or local Churches, should only occur through PAM, along the Headquarters. So is the correct, and avoids escape to our knowledge and control. In addition, establishing justice for the other missionaries in the distribution of resources, and does not affect the work as a whole;

3. Use envelopes of the Church Peniel specific: Missions Peniel, to offer correct and biblically for the work.

4. The Ministry Peniel only maintains an account, of the Baptist Church Peniel, operated by the Church Board of Directors, through its Officers;

5. "If you believe, thou shoulders see the Glory of God." (John 11.40).

We are counting on your understanding and fear to Our Great God.

THE POWER OF GOD IN MOZAMBIQUE AND MALAWI

"Exalted is the name of the Lord. Through Him and for Him to be the Glory. We started on Wednesday, November 2, the programming of the birthday of the Church Peniel in Mozambique, with cults, study of the Word and prayers. We end today, Sunday, December 6, at 13h30. A cult that began at 8:00. The temperature today is good; only 41 degrees! This was not an obstacle to the worship lasted more than 6 hours! A great blessing has been poured out upon the whole Church! We were able to gather the churches of Mozambique and Malawi, with presence of more than 300 people. Jesus is good, always good!!!"
