"The Lord is peace"

(Judges 6.24)

Gideon threshes the wheat.

The strength of the arms, of the sun scorching,

tore the earth and planted the seed.

Vine growth, the harvest in time and the organization of the heaps.

But soon arrived and the Midianites! Invaded the land and

destroyed barns taking the fruit. Appeared in flocks. Pillaged. Lay in tents

and if persuasion put up. They pillaging, devastate, steal everything!

The people of Adonai-Elohim were suffering.

Then, Jehovah-shalom sent his angel to say:

"Go in this thy strength, the Lord is with thee, a man of valor!"

Gideon encouraged and anointed with oil the stone (Jg 6.12).

The Angel on touched with the tip of the staff.

And the fire of the Lord consumed the meat and the sacred breads (Jg. 6.21-24).

That one Altar, called Gideon JEHOVAH-SHALOM!

The alliance of the Lord with his people is peace (Nu 25.12):

"The Lord will give to David into his house, and upon his throne,

his peace forever" (1Ki 2.33); "The Lord will give strength unto his people;

the Lord will bless his people with peace"(Psalms 29.11);

"I will make with them a repair of peace" (Eze 34.25);

"the glory of the latter house it will be greater

than the first, in this place will I give my peace" (Haggai 2.9).

NEW CHALLENGES FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

Três Lagoas - MS, Brazil

"My Father works until now, and I work also" (John 5.17).

Big surprises of the Lord in Três Lagoas.

Crowded worship on Sunday, the Church alive and strong.

Exuberance in the baptisms of Saturday night and the joy of the people.

We saw the strength of the church in its powerful group of young people and adults.

We embrace former brothers, columns and pillars of truth,

for so many years serving the Lord with love at Peniel!

The Farm Peniel stands out for its beauty, order and life in the life of each recovering.

Excellent job of trainees Marcelo and Claudia toward inside of the recovery,

indicated by the Ministry after graduation in 2015.

The Pastor Wellington and Leila Antunes have been unfolding with

wisdom and divine grace, in adaptation to the new field of work. We thank God for what they

have been honored and blessed at this stage. Will cover the Pastor and Church of prayers.

Great are the promises that have already begun to be fulfilled.

The Ministry Peniel, in the person of the Prs. Alexandre Theodoro,

Claudio Lebrão, Elmelindo de Almeida and Reuel P. Feitosa,

there were days 27 to 31 August, to support, to bless and good

guide this precious work of the Lord.

The Lord of glory blesses your entire Church.

FEAST OF FIRSTLING

September 7, 2016

"THE LORD BROUGHT US OUT OF EGYPT WITH A STRONG HAND

AND WITH AN OUTSTRETCHED ARM AND WITH GREAT AMAZEMENT,

WITH SIGNS AND WITH MIRACLES: AND BROUGHT US INTO THIS PLACE,

AND GAVE US THIS LAND, A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY.

BEHOLD, I HAVE BROUGHT THE FIRSTLING OF THE FRUITS OF THE LAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN."

(Deuteronomy 26. 8-9)

A great cult of consecration to the Lord for the firstling

of the fruits of the earth, of lives free, fields missionaries,

preaching and teaching the Word, the edification and God's

power in the life of the people Peniel. A day of dedication to the Lord God.

roundabout, go left to Suzana; in small church, get to the right;

Proceed 6 miles taking the

Serra of the Moeda always on your left, until the Farm Peniel.

*DEDICATION OF FIRSTLING - At 11h

*LUNCH - in the family the shadow of grove or in the refectory of the farm,

at minimum prices or in food stalls. In the afternoon there,

sports, recreations and entertainment.

*CLOSURE - At 17 Hours

BLESSINGS IN INDIA

"Our ministry in India is going well. In the first week of August,

we performed seven days of fasting, prayer in the Church headquarters.

We also have a meeting with our pastors and all share the blessings of the Lord,

as well as the challenges of ministry.

My daughter, Gloria and I were in the orphanage where she spent a good

time teaching several songs to girls.

All are well and very happy with their new backpacks and school uniforms.

"CONFERENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT"

Guinea Bissau - West Africa

We perform a "Conference of the Holy Spirit" on days 22 to 26 of this month.

(...) We need to run to the Holy Spirit. Through Him our vision is transformed.

We see the world with new lenses, because we see him spiritually.

We can now describe things from God's point of view. (...) the Lord visited his people.

Confirmed ministries and defined who we were. Powerful words brought life and restoration.

The people of God in Guinea Bissau prayed and fasted for more than twenty-one days,

and God heard their cry. We witnessed healings, baptized in the Holy Spirit and releases.

People broke the satanic pacts and reached the salvation! Hallelujah!

The Lord also cleans His Church and raises new workers.

God acted in the life of the seminarians and is revealing who He truly called for his work.

The work is Him. The Church is of God. Pray for us
