"The Lord is peace" (Judges 6.24)

After the great battles of the fields were covered in the bodies of young people dying. Sighs of land, came up deep ringing the space and seemed to return in pain refolded. Those dying whatremained wait that death came very soon.

Suddenly, a gentle voice was heard. Looked more like the voice of an angel hovering above the misfortunes of the war. Sing and sing, restoring hope, the consolation, to lives fiercely interrupted.

Listening to the songs, the dying could give the last breath, and a gentle gaze on the face of the angelic Florence Nightingale. With a Smile almost soft took leave and they could from in peace. In the middle of the fields covered with blood of First World War, she sings the most beautiful hymns from the Christian Faith. In the midst of Pain - Jehovah-Shalom!

God of peace in tribulation, in sorrow and despair. "In a world so full of nothing". "In the house of my Father there are many abodes," sing our hippies. The people who came from the desert knew the God of peace. Until today Israel if greets you in the streets, in corners, to the door of the house, of tents, kibbutz, squares, churches and synagogues, with this word melodic, full of life and hope - "Shalom!"

"Shalom my friend, God is with thee, until the end with his arm of love, leads us to the Lord Shalom, shalom, shalom!"

Gideon threshes wheat. The force of arms, the sun slightly burns, bitted the land and planted the seed. The vineyard growth, the harvest in time and organize the heaps. But as soon as they arrived the Midianites! Invaded the land, demolish the barns seize of fruits. Emerged in flocks. Pillaged. The twelfth tents and if accommodate... They depredate, devastate, and steal everything! The people of Adonai-Elohim afflicted him.

Then, Jehovah-Shalom sent his angel, to say: - "goes in this thy strength, the Lord is with thee, mighty man of valorous!"

Gideon has encouraged and anointed with oil stone... The angel touched on offer with the tip of the staff. And the fire of the Lord burned down the meat and the cakes sacred (Jz. 6.23-24). That Altar drew Gideon, Jehovah-shalom! The Covenant of the Lord with his people is of peace (Nm. 25.12); "The Lord will give to David, to his house, and upon his throne, his peace forever" (1 Kings 2.33). "The Lord will give strength to his people the Lord will bless his people with peace" (Ps. 29.11); "I will make with them a covenant of peace" (Ez 34.25).

While the tanks of Israel proton shells ripped across the desert of Sinai, in the Six Day War, within each tank sprang up in the radio and the heart of the soldiers of the Song Yael Sharon - "Jerusalem, Jerusalem... Of gold, bronze and light!" In the soul, in mind, heart and arm of each combatant Adonai-Elohim exclaimed:

- "Peace is within thy walls and prosperity within thy palaces...

There is peace in it" (Ps 122. 6-8).

In these troubled times, days of our terrible afflictions and expectations

- which will be tomorrow?

 - The God of glory responds to his people and to each his servant: "Fear not, beloved Servant, animates thee, animates you - peace be with you!" (Dn 10.19).

We are praying to give continuity to the work of building that is in masonry and without doors, but the blessings continue. BAPTISMS IN PORTO VELHO, RONDONIA

"In the day 12/06 we performed a cult of Baptism. Six new brothers have passed through the waters, among them there was a guy in Venezuela. He married a Brazilian girl and came to dwell in Porto Velho. The couple participated of our 'worship for couples' and began to attend the Church. Converted and decided to baptize. The worship was wonderful and impactful. There were many visitors who have been touched by the Holy Spirit. We are working to ensure that the name of the LORD be glorified in this blessed land. A great embrace everyone."

"Chemical dependents and family are experiencing a new history. (...) We do cults in homes and visited those that invite us to bring the Word. In the first Baptism in Epitaciolândia, six brothers were baptized. Is too strong a move of the Holy Spirit! God be glorified! We have collected the fruits of the earth and the creation (100 hens and chicken and 1 small pig). In everything God has honored and his name exalted!"

THE LORD IS OUR PROVISION AND CURE! RIO BRANCO - ACRE, BRAZIL

"We are well, seeking the blessing of God through the doors which open. I remember very well the day in which he was seated in the Church Peniel, in Cruzeiro do Sul, when the Pr. Reuel called. After praying the Lord the bother to transfer to Rio Branco. We had reached the physician with the request of several exams that we could only do here in Rio Branco.

The disease is advanced and it will not be possible to chemotherapy. He shall take a medication to prevent the advance of the disease. We believe in the Doctor of doctors and we ask all to help us in prayer. We thank God for the support of the Church, of Pr. Gilson and Sulamita and of Pr. Reuel.
