The path was long and heavy. The pilgrims followed tired, anguish,

sometimes looking for behind.

Between the security of slave quarters in Egypt

and the invisible hope of the Promised Land.

They well that could sing:

"The path is long and evil, and our feet are wounded,

is still far from Canaan, and still far from Canaan...

How many times has been lacking our milk, and our bread;

- is still far from Canaan...?

We are weak, so tired,

we spent by deserts, by hedges fires

we are weak, so tired,

- is still far Cannan...?" (1)

Those hikers followed journey in the wilderness of Shittim. But had to always look ahead, because the God of the Promise went before. Sometimes if revolt, and until they murmured against Adonai-Elohim and rebellion against Moses, the leader sent by the "Large I Am"!

They looked very much with us today.

But Jehovah-Rafah is the same El Shadday, the Almighty God. After three days of travel, hunger and thirst, sorts the Moses launch a twig of wood to the bitter water from Marah. And they are transformed miraculously in fresh waters! (Exodus 15.23-25).

And as soon as the Lord tells the people put to the test:

"You will serve the Adonai-Elohim, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water, and he shall pluck of means of you the whole infirmity" (Exodus 23.25).

"The Lord abandon it pain, terror, and the whole disease" (Deuteronomy 7.15).

The anguish of the soul, the fears, the despairs and sorrows caused by injustice, mistreatment and abuse; the frustrations, deception, betrayal and solitude; the pain that hurts in soul and all medicine and human promises that is never fulfilled...

"He took on himself all our infirmities and carried our sorrows; he was crushed for our iniquities; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53.4).

He continues to say to his people:

- HERE I AM: "I am Jehovah-Rafah, the God who heals thee." Be healed. Now.

The hands of the Lord are open about the mission Peniel Paraguay. The battle in the construction of the temple has been rewarded by the Lord. Now even occurred the blessing of the donation of the electrical system, the floor and the ceiling! God honoring the faith of his servants missionaries MÔNICA and GILMAR. The work with the children follows blessed in EATERS I AND II - restaurants that serve to about 200 children, reaching also their families with the Word. The Church grows with the grace of the Lord Jesus.

People stood, frightened and looked after; other smiled; just some mocked. But they followed hereinafter...
