Is for you that I beseech you, not by the world  (John 17.9)

Conscious that His hour had come to, Jesus Christ presents the God the life of His disciples. Covered by the Glory of the Father, He entreats the same for the faithful disciples.

The text animates in us the sweet promise of Jesus: "... And I will pray the Father the Consoler..." (John 14.16). Much more than to be concerned with their departure worries about it with the permanence of the disciples in the world. Knew that I needed to equip them, and prepare them for the future.

"I will not leave you only..." (John 14.18). He never abandons us (Matthew 28.20).

He assures us of His presence. And ensures their cry by the Father. And since that time already begins to cover them also with the weight of Glory - that involvement that embraces our spirit with His Spirit. The jump from the human spirit of "Shell" of their condition for the encounter inexpressible with the Spirit of God.

The reason of this prayer we are, you and I. Because we are his: "All I have is yours, and all that is thy, is mine; I pray for those whom you have given me, because they are yours... I was glorified in them" (v.10).

Dear servants of God, the Lord say literally in His Word, and confirm our hearts today in this prayer. Listen to His voice in the depths of his soul, interceding now:

"HOLY FATHER, KEEP THEM IN THY NAME WHICH THOU HAST GIVEN ME, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY BE ONE EVEN AS WE (V.11).

I KEPT THEM IN THY NAME AND I KEPT, AND NOT ONE OF THEM IS LOST, NOT TO BE THE SON OF PERDITION (JUDE) (V.12).

SANCTIFY THEM IN THE TRUTH; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH" (V.17).

Every servant of Jesus in this Brazil torn, and other suffered regions of this planet, we embrace our life to that of Jesus Christ, on this holy priestly intercession. Jesus is doing now by you, by me and His Church.

In adoration together to the weight of His Glory.
