“And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed”( Leviticus 14. 18)

Forty-three years of ministry and another year of “pregnancy”. Difficult birth, intensive labor and such a complicated growth! Pain is a necessary part of giving birth; because of the Word that gives life and its value.

Peniel was born out of pain and is still struggling to deliver life. But it is this struggle that determines the strength of its existence. There are no easy ministries. Especially if they are genuinely from God.

Ministries of men are led by situations, deviate with the waves and fall apart at the touch of emotions. However, what comes from God lives and abides forever.

The Forge of God approves the mighty. They have to go through the tempering fire. Remember the heroes of David? A man is worth ten thousand, brandishing his sword he kills thousands with his unusual power. The sword clings to the flesh, blood and bones, to the point where arm and iron are no longer distinguishable; the sword and man become one. In the struggle they merge! "So until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword." (The second book of Samuel 23:10)

I must confess to find myself moved when picturing what is written in the Word of God and so many times reflected in life. It astonishes me: So many times I no longer know who the man is, or who the Angel is! Angel and man are often blended and fade into one single image. Or it may even be a Fighting Angel incarnated in this fragile Jacob who was made Temple of the Holy Spirit?

The horror going on around the world seized this message and the armies of death have extrapolated those of the Lord: "Where are the brave?" (2 Samuel 1:19).

The text tells us of the crowning of man; this man with leprosy being covered by the purifying Blood , the sanctifying oil coating his skin and the "oil-and-blood" anointing that overflows and uses (Genesis 32.30; Leviticus 14:18).

This is how I see Peniel. A continuing challenge from the Holy Spirit, which we can never get away from, for we may perish in the Holy of Holies.

If we ever stop being what we are and how we are and move into pleasing all, we’ll most certainly have lost our mission and supernatural task.

For this reason we are born, exist and move.

The world has changed. The symbols and dreams are now behind; the prophetic power of yesterday materialized in a new world in intense mutation.

But the Word, Power and Glory of the Lord remain with us forever. Therefore, we arrived to the present hour, this hour which is also the beggining of the End.

Let us rise and proceed in this batle, face to face, led by the victory of the Lord. (Hosea 6.6).

The Blood washes, the oil covers and the Anointing overflows.

Thank you, Lord.

Be faithful, Peniel.
