“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalms 91:1)  To dwellth in the secret place of the most High is to live and feel the security and greatness embedded within His presence. It’s to go further in every aspect of what we know, feel, or think. It’s to be carried on by His Spirit at all times.

In life, we navigate on hash waters. The tempest causes overwhelming waves that seems to pull us away from the shore. In spite of the storm, we find ourselves astonished by our heart’s peace and stillness. In fact, this calming Spirit that lives inside of us softly repeats to us: “Hold on, I’m with you and nothing wrong will happen.” But, our human minds protests. Our reasoning jumps in the way and confronts our faith by saying: “Do something!” We attentively look forward.

Meanwhile, the sun above us is moving from West to East of the planet Earth. The sun is opening new gaps through the clouds, winning over the wild wind and every weight. But the people around us are observing, waiting, and presuming what will be our next action. Some of these people are certainly making judments and saying: ´Poor man, for that reason God gave him up.” “What has he done wrong?” “There gotta be something hidden that no one can know…” Like the sun moving above the sky, we also move on. We inevitably march like God’s own heart beating for the Love of His son!

Suddenly, the Lord of Glory delivers us from our troubles!

The clouds descend, the fog ascends, the air cleans up and a strong light reaches us from above. Then, a soft voice speaks into our ears:  “You are my son, I will never leave you nor forsake you!”

Now, we can recite the words of the Psalmist: “He is the LORD. He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust; Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.”

May God richly bless you.

CONTEMPLAITING THE GLORY OF THE LORD

Photo Album-  Peniel New York

No other Church has ever been so Peniel like the one from New York! They fight one battle after another. They face big combats and trials, but in return they gain tremendous victories. They also receive more courage to confront the next very unexpected situations.

The Church is doing great. It is blessed and anointed. It is a picture of its cultural diverse context. The multi race spontaneous services- whether being in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or other different languages are actively present in here.

May God bless Peniel, NY, Pastor Jonas Madariaga and many other brothers who work for this powerful Church. May God bless those who have continuously compromised to keep the Church going for so many decades.  Please check out our photo album at our website: www.ministeriopeniel.com.br

INDIA

“On Sunday, October 26th 2014, we ended our challenge of 21 days of Fasting and Praying. During that day, we had our Church Service and baptisms in the waters. There were a total of six people baptized, including an 80 years old ma’am. The brothers and pastors from our neighborhood also attended to this Church Service.

The 21 days of prayers were unquestionably marked by a tense spiritual battle. But, the Lord’s grace reached us making it possible to hold on. Then, we witnessed many blessings. There were people filled by the Holy Spirit and others delivered from suicidal oppression. In addition, others were healed and broken free from addictions. May the Lord’s name be honored for all He has done. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support.”

LET’S PRAY FOR INDIA

Let’s continue praying for our dear Missionaries Tom e Sushan.  Their work is getting harder. The Missionaries started to suffer persecutions, lack of understanding, support, and goods. Each day that goes by the government is raising more questions in regards to the Missionary works and their Guidelines.  The same is happening all over the world. Preach the Gospel in India is a huge challenge and a tremendous work of Faith.  May God bless Tom, Sushan, and their daughters. May God bless the local Pastors and all the Churches. May God bless the House of the Girls. The Church is growing every day in the Power of the Holy Spirit!
