“...for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me… I will do all my pleasure:” (Isaiah 46:9-10)

Sovereignty is the power to exercise authority and absolute control over someone or something. Thus, one may ask: “Who has the power to exercise absolute control over all things?” In-truth, only one Person has this supreme power—God.

The Bible presents God as the Only Sovereign Being on heavens and earth.(…) God controls all things from the macro world in the infinite space to the micro universe of microscopes. The Bible states that nothing gets away from His control. Moreover, all facts of one’s life, including every little detail in yours and mine, don’t go out of God’s sight.

Even the things that seem to happen awkwardly, like coincidences, including those occasions that may weight negatively against us, are still in God’s hands; He is sovereign. He is Self-sufficient and enough. His presence is completely imperative to our lives. Therefore, we are desperately in need of Him. He is extremely important and necessary for you and me!

He controls all things on heavens and earth including princes, kings, people, and vast nations—nothing gets away. It says on Isaiah 46:9-11, “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” On Proverbs 21:1 we read: “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” And Proverbs 16:33 adds: “The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.”

God is Sovereign. Rest on Him!

God bless you.

Time to Intercede

God’s people walk by God’s power. This is a supernatural journey that has to overcome the limitations and obstacles from the things of this world.  The “things of this world” are real and become serious barriers or obstacles that prevent God’s people to move on. Sometimes, these barriers or obstacles are almost unbeatable.

We need God’s power; WE MUST PRAY

The supernatural intervention from the Holy Spirit is completely necessary to any Christian life. We shall cry for His help all day and night.

It’s time to pray for God’s plans toward our family, our personal lives, our personal challenges, and spiritual commitments.  Lastly, it’s time to pray for God’s projects toward our nation’s future and the world’s future.

For Believers who seek the Lord with all their hearts, real answers and achievements are those that come from God’s hands.

Praying services are offered daily at Peniel’s mother church at 6 am, 9 am, 12 pm, 3pm, and 6 pm. Praying will continue during the night services. Come pray with us.

GLOBAL MISSION PENIEL

ACRE’S BLESSING – AMAZON ZONE

Pr. Wellington from Peniel, Acre, has shared wonderful News with us. In the past four months, he has started 11 groups of “Church Viva” from Rio Braco, Acre.   The families of the youths, enrolled in the Rehab Homes, are being reached through the preaching of the Word. Now, many of these families are congregating at our Church. This contributes to the raise of strengthen of the rehab patients. Another great news is that all leaders are working promptly as a team. They are very blessed.

The recent “Party of Nations” had dual participation from Porto Velho’s Peniel and Cruzeiro Do Sul’s Peniel. This alliance has been wonderful. Those who worked in this event expressed to feel tired, but are also very pleased with all that God is doing in their neighborhood.

The constructions inside the ranch, located in the mid of the Amazon forest, are going on as a challenge and as a blessing. The spiritual battle is continuous. There really is a “face to face” conflict with the power of darkness. But above all, God delivers victory to His people.

Let’s pray for Pr. Wellington and his Family. Pray especially for the health of Epaminondas, Pr. Wellington’s father. He is currently ill.

May the Lord continue to use his servants, Pr. WELLINGHTON ANTUNES and his wife LEILA, along with their sons. In addition, may the Lord continue to use all other Pastors, Labors, volunteers, and the whole church.

SUCRE, BOLIVIA

“Brothers, may God bless you. Thanks to God, I like to inform all that the Church in Sucre is growing. The evangelism in the airport area is also growing. We recently went through a trial: There was an electrical accident with the electric wires of our church. This caused a minor fire in the building. But, thanks to God, nobody was injured and there were no major harms. My family and I are well. We are devoted to the Church with loving and care. We have done evangelisms at  hospitals, prisons, and open streets. In fact, we have expanded our services to different areas of the city. We ask you to pray on behalf of the evangelist crusade that will occur on September 11th thru the 13th. We like to see many souls being saved and the Church to continue growing. Greetings to everyone. May God bless you.”

BLESSINGS RECEIVED THROUGH OUR MINISTRY MEETINGS

Dear Peniel pastors, brothers and sisters:

With sincere appreciation to God, I share the blessings received from our ministry meetings. The meetings are taking place at our Mother Church on Tuesdays. During that time, we emphasize our bible studies. This is an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to deeply revealed God’s knowledge throughout the cooperation and comments of each present pastor. For instance, after the guidance of our dear Pastor Ruel, we have been studying for the past few weeks the book, “The Tent of Revalation: The Tabernacle”. The study of this book is improving our lives and ministry. Consequently, this blessing will affect the whole Congregation. As the apostle Paul highlights: “How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.” 1 Corinthians 14:26
