- JESUS FREES -

    “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8.32)                                      

Jesus Christ is the truth. The Only Truth. Deep down, you know it. Something repeats loudly, deep down, saying right now that only He frees. Jesus Christ, nothing compares to Him!

You know the slaveries that weigh on you. Tremendous forces that want to take over your mind, control your thoughts and make you a slave, a robot. Using the silliest excuses, they say "this has nothing to do with! ..."

Jesus Christ is the Deliverer. Until today, nothing and no one appeared, and will never appear, another better than Him. Because Jesus Christ is the Only. He is incomparable, because He is God in your life. And all that there was and is in Him, He wants to transfer to your life.

This massifying force that dominates the World is a lie. It seems to make you a global giant. You think you can say whatever you want, and appear where and how you want. You think you're almost a little king "visiting" the whole World...

But behind all this, there is a destructive spiritual power that slowly, day by day, dominates you. And suddenly, you can no longer be free. You realize you became a dupe. You can no longer find yourself.

Jesus Christ is the truth that frees. He puts an end to this slavery and opens up a new and true spiritual space for you. He never dominates, enslaves or makes you an addicted.

You can be a dependent on Jesus Christ.

You can become a participant of His power.

You can be a proclaimer of His Love.

You can be an agent of the Liberation that only Jesus Christ has given to the one who believeth.

Without Jesus Christ, sex is garbage, exploitation, domination and even violence. Without the Love of Christ, it becomes pornography, appeal, psychoses and misrepresentations that make you go crazy. Drugs that destroy head, body and steal the mind and the freedom.                            

Jesus Christ frees because of his true love. He proved it with His Life. He didn't talk about passions and romances, nor appealed to the feelings, revolts and unreasons of each one. He showed with His Love, His total surrender, what is to be a human person - In the image and likeness of God!

The dominate people machine is on the loose; enslaving minds and hearts of both young and adults. It's grinding the flesh, shaping thoughts and disfiguring the human being at this robotic time.

Run to who loves you.

Do you remember of the leper from the Old Testament? He was healed at once! Do you remember of the Blind from Jericho? Bartimaeus went home seeing everything! What about the Prodigal Son? He received a new inheritance! And the mad Gadarene? He became free forever!

Jesus Christ, the Only Truth that frees.

 “I had never seen it!”

GREAT EVANGELISTIC CAMPAIGN AT CONCEPCIÓN – PARAGUAY

               "I had never seen it! And on the street!” The Evangelistic Campaign in Paraguay was marked by this expression. And also by young going around on their motorcycles, tirelessly, at night in Concepción. They go, come and come back. Always bringing another young pillion, while the spin continues with the silent engines through city streets.

On the banks of Paraguay River, the city is a challenge to Peniel Mission. There is located the little church, which since its recent implantation, already baptized more than eighteen people. The environment is traditionally Catholic. The St. Lady of Concepción has its image right in the center of town and competes in height with the tower of the Catholic Church Headquarters.

The campaign took place in the City Hall Esplanade. The square was crowded with young people, mostly between 13 and 18 years. The older ones were on their motorcycles with their girlfriends, while adults left their houses and took their chairs out to the sidewalk. The temperature was between 40 and 46 degrees!

               The Holy Spirit acted with great power. The Evangelist Reuel Junior was taken by the Lord. Brokenness, tears, reconciliations and conversions occurred abundantly. The Holy Spirit was poured out with signs, wonders, healings and deliverance.

Pastor Reuel Feitosa preached to church and celebrated the Lord's Supper. There was a wonderful time of prayer and power of God. Pastor Gilmar and Monica were tremendously blessed. They have seen the glory of Lord and what God can do through their lives.

The campaign had the support of around ten Churches and Paraguayan Evangelical Institutions, and the Concepción City Hall, whom we sincerely thank.

               A blessed team from Brazil took part in the campaign: Pastor Wesley and Cleide, Presbyter Maikel (Campo Grande), Seminarian Rafael and Leandro, Peniel Farm staff.

Our words of gratitude to Peniel Church in Brazil and other countries, because of the spiritual covering in prayers.

May the Lord of Glory continue blessing His Work in Paraguay and our dear brethren, which battle for the name of Lord Jesus.

"It was worth to leave everything!"

SALVADOR, BAHIA - BRAZIL

                              "We had great victories in Salvador this year! This weekend we held the first ‘Peniel in Concert’. A beautiful worship on Sunday evening, with old and new songs, known and unknown composers, and some compositions of our own Worship Group staff.

It was a night of many fruits and lives thirsting for Christ. We could see God moving in this place. We told the history of Peniel in Belo Horizonte and also in Salvador. November 25th will be 17 years since Pastor Edson is here. We ended the schedule with the Peniel's Hymn: Children entered dressed as hippies. We also showed the lyrics of the song "Plante uma Rosa." The Holy Spirit was the great coordinator, because all members of the Worship Group have paid a price before God for this day. God, in his infinite love, brought convictions to the hearts of all who attended.

               God gave me a word one morning and I now share with you, Pastor Reuel. The word is in Jeremiah 31.10-17. I felt very happy seeing how it was worth to have left everything, and have gone to work in the Recovery House in Three Ponds, and then marry and come to Salvador with my husband. Thanks for everything. Thanks for delivering your life to the Lord Jesus."

They are looking for me because of my testimony. I have led some of them to Church. God gave me a word in Romans 15.1: "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak." It touched my soul. Please pray for spiritual protection for my family. I'm very thirsty for these souls here. How they are needy! Hugs and stay in the peace of Christ!
