A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

(John 3:27)

God is calling you. There is no time to hang around with arms crossed. Stop crying and feeling depressed. Start doing something. I think God is tired of many church people. The temples are full of egocentric people. The Church is empty of the presence of God. The Holy Spirit is not at the Church. It is not living there. It is not residing in there. I have often heard: “No one appreciates me.” “They do not acknowledge my skills.” “I am here…” I think these brothers should tell to God those things.  They have an internal problem.

I read in the Bible that God uses insignificant people. He uses those who are least expected (Judges 6:15. He separates, works on and uses whoever He pleases. No one can demand a title from God or the Church leaders. You are what you are. God uses whoever, however, and whenever He wants. God does not need us. We are the ones who need Him. Many don’t want to commit to God. They merely insist on asking over and over. They are never satisfied.

I analyze the present church when I read about Gideon and the thirty-two thousand soldiers. The thirty-two thousand soldiers were a weak army with no commitment (Judges 7). Similarly, people often think only about themselves. They worry about how to live a better life, make more money, have more comfort and take better advantage of their vacations or marriage life! Thank God not everyone is like this.

“Ye lust, and have not: because ye ask amiss” (Tiago 4:2-3). The wage they get is all wasted… The usurper takes it over. The solution for all of problems does not come just from expelling the “Usurper” as if he is the only source of all of our problems. The issues are within our hearts. We are the greatest usurpers! Thank God there are exceptions to this.

Set yourself free from the worries kept inside of you. Empty your being by giving your life to Jesus Christ like Paul did on his way to Damascus (Acts 9). Like the blind man in Jericho (Mark 10:46-52).  Like sealers when they emptied their ship during a shipwrecking. It was God’s power that kept Paul and the sealers alive during that storm (Acts 27).

Our God never changed. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.”(Hebreus 13.8) “John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven (John 3:27). Give your life to the Lord. Blessings will drop into your lap!

May God bless you.

“PUT YOUR HAND ON HIM”

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

MAY THE GOSPEL GET THERE...

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts” (1 Thessalonians 2:4). After meditating on this verse, I realized that God has consecrated us and deposited into our lives the mission of going into all the world to faithfully preach THE GOSPEL to all creatures.  The commandment of advocating and sowing the Gospel is an assignment strictly given to the Church of the Lord Jesus.

Lately, instead of witnessing the Word of God being advertized, I hear a lot about the sowing of the EBOLA in the West Africa. It’s interesting to notice that an epidemic is “is the rapid spread of infectious disease to a large number of persons in a given population within a short period of time.” I wished it was the Gospel of Jesus Christ that was daily spread “like an epidemic…” Then, instead of getting terrible news from the West coast of Africa, Guinea- Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cape Verde, and Senegal, I would hear that “one more person was saved by Jesus!” Hence, I would no longer hear how “EBOLA is out of hand in some countries”. Instead, I would witness how “The preaching of the GOSPEL over passed national borders and now is spreading all over Africa reaching the farthest continents!”

I wish I could see people bringing their lives to Christ and rapidly dying to the world. Whenever questioned about the symptoms of this disease, they would answer: daily need to testify, prophesize, heal, worship the Lord with spiritual hymns and a serious desire to save to lost through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And even more, they would contaminate those around them. Such people would ultimately share the same symptoms. It is inevitable. The Gospel would go beyound bondaries and no loger be limited. “Nothing can stop the works of God.”

Pray for us. May God Bless you.

BOLIVIA CONTINUES WITH ITS VICTORIES!

Pr. Michael shares excellent news: “God’s people are continuously growing in Bolivia. We had a large number of people baptized on September 14, 2014. Some brothers from Coloradillo were also baptized. Missionary Ana Semproniana is thrilled with all of God’s wonders. We feel overjoyed by the manifestation of God’s Glory in the Church.”
